Community Involvement

At Town & Country Veterinary Care, we believe in the importance of connecting with and serving our community.  Over the years, we have delighted in participating in many local events and supporting our local organizations.

Helotes Humane Society - a group of caring people who have opened their hearts & homes to pets in need.  We have enjoyed our work with the HHS - from adoption events to helping care for their rescued pets in need.

Animal Defense League - our Pet Adoption Days with animals from the ADL have been a blast! - joining pets with their new adoptive families.

Roy Maas' Youth Alternatives - a special place for children, which is dedicated to giving children a foundation of positive values, which will promote future success and end the cycle of abuse.

Paws on the Patio - a fun fall event at Flores' Country Store in Helotes.

Dogtoberfest - our own fun fall festival for families and their furry members.

Local Boy Scouts - we have enjoyed hosting many troops over the years; helping our local youth learn about animal husbandry and veterinary medicine.

Halloween Pooch Parade - we look forward to our annual participation in this local event!

Puppies to Guppies, Little Gym - during this summer event, we are excited to expose members of the Little Gym to our various pets, helping to teach the children about different animals, letting them play with them and creating a foundation of respect for pets.

If you have a local organization who would like to work with us for a special event, please contact us by email at [email protected] or phone.
